Adrian's poker journey began at a young age, playing at the kitchen table with family. During a weekly "call your round" home game in 2002, his family introduced No-Limit Texas Hold'em, and he never looked back. After watching Gus Hansen win the first WPT title on television, he was hooked. Adrian began to play online and sought out every piece of strategy advice available through books, videos, and online forums. In 2012, he left a career in technology construction to pursue poker full-time. An avid online grinder, Adrian averages 1,500 tournaments per year and is playing more live events, including joining Team Fearless River on the road.
As COO of Fearless River (formerly LearnWPT) since 2016, Adrian has had the privilege of training alongside some of the best poker minds on the planet and is constantly working on new ways to help students play better poker. With a 17-year career in scholastic and Olympic-style wrestling as the backbone, Adrian's discipline and determination are a driving force behind his desire to become the #1 ranked tournament player in the world. A fixture at Live Workshops, Adrian loves meeting and helping Fearless River students of all experience levels achieve their poker goals.
Adrian left his career in 2012 as a Technology Designer and Construction Engineer in the Northeast US to pursue his dream of playing poker professionally and enjoys joining Team Fearless River at live events around the country. Off the felt, Adrian loves going to concerts and seeing live music, golf, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and hiking with his partner Kelly and pup Wilson. Adrian's discipline and determination, learned from his 17-year career in scholastic and Olympic-style wrestling, are an invaluable asset to Fearless River students who are looking to transition into playing poker professionally or semi-professionally.
