Nuance to advanced cbetting strategy

  • mysteryplayer (NY, NY)

In heads up pots, I've started checking the flop versus cbetting when I'm the preflop aggressor with flops that contain middling cards (i.e. 7c 8h 2s or 10c 5h 6s). This is true whether I hit or missed, in or out of position. I do this from early and middle positions, and depending on my table image (usually perceived as tight) I will do it from late position as well.

Assuming this correct (please advise), would it be correct to adjust and cbet (hit or miss) if the flop was coordinated with middling cards say 7c 8c 2s, or 10c 5h 6h? Or maybe check if missed and cbet if hit (or have over pair) on coordinated flops?

Any additional guidance in terms of when to cbet or not (advanced strategy) in these situations would be appreciated!

Thank you!!
